CLAIRETTE DE DIE - 100% Clairette

• Geographical Situation : Mountainous terrain on both sides of the Drôme Valley, with the combined climatic influences of the Vercors plateau and the Drôme Provençale. The Diois benefits from fresh, cool nights and very sunny days. Its altitude, above 700 metres, makes it one of the highest winegrowing regions in France.
• Sol : Jurassic hills with a heart of rich black earth. Stony, chalky soils with ancient sedimentary deposits of pebbles.
• Vinification : Traditional methods, with a second fermentation in the bottle.
• Color : An attractive, pale golden yellow.
• Nose : White flower aromas, accompanied by fruity notes, especially of lime and grapefruit. A hint of brioche.
• Mouth : A pleasant liveliness and roundness, with complex, fruity notes.
• Recommendations : To be enjoyed as an aperitif, with dessert, or indeed throughout the meal. Serve at 6°C. To ensure the fruity character of the wine is preserved, do not hesitate to drink it before it reaches 2 years of age.
